    Dan, you never cease to amaze me. You are a stud! Did you get a job offer to be a firefighter that day?

    I’m curious…what is the time requirement for SVFD to do the same drill?

    That was excellent, for your first time ever doing the combat challenge and breathing air! Actually, there are guys on the job who have done it in under 2 minutes. That includes wearing the heavier bunker boots (no tennis shoes). I believe the time requirement for the new recruits is 7 minute or less. It’s only required to be done while in recruit school (when you first get hired). I’m an employee of SVFD and a member of Crossfit Spokane. Maybe someday we should put together a CS Spokane and a CS Spokane Valley combat challenge, or just get together and have a group workout?
