Marine Corps Sgt. Michael C. Roy, 25, of North Fort Myers, Fla., assigned to the 3rd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Special Operations Advisor Group, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command at Camp Lejeune, was killed in action on July 8th, 2009 in Nimroz Province, Afghanistan, while supporting combat operations. He is survived by his wife Amy and three children, Michael, Landon and Olivia.

What a way to start off the week… a hero WOD, RIP Roy!  CrossFitters know how to get it done!  Let’s make this an amazing week!

    Wasn\’t ready for a Hero WOD on a Monday. Only put up a 50:48. Can\’t say any single part was the problem, just as a whole kicked my a**!

    Crash… thats the beauty of crossfit – you don’t have to be ready for it to kill it! You finished! and that is what matters. Roy is a MONSTER! Be proud of every rep you did! PS – everyone got their a$$ handed to them today!

    I was tempted to stop at 3 rounds to prevent the hamburger hands but they were inevitable even at 3!

    HAMBURGER HANDS FOR SURE BD. AND THANKS FOR THE RING PUSH UP SUB FOR BOX J, THIS FOOT NEEDS TO HEAL FAST!. 1 YEAR OF DOING CROSSFIT 4-5 TIMES PER WEEK AND THIS SORE FROM MONDAY I CANT BELIEVE IT.
